800 km in six months is the average distance a wiper blade travels over the windscreen. Below freezing temperatures in winter make the wiper blade rubber hard. Innovative synthetic wiper blade
Genuine BMW Wiper Blades unite two different synthetic material mixtures in one wiper blade. A hard durable wiper rubber lip with micro double edge for optimal distribution of the contact pressure; and a soft wiper spine for secure pulling of the wiper lip. Without this correct tilt angle of the blade, the wiper rubber is pushed over the windscreen and a scraping sound can be heard.
Rustproof, high grade materials and optimal construction
High grade steel alloy is used for Genuine BMW Wiper Blades. Thanks to a special paint finish and painting process it cannot rust. In addition there is a unique hinge technology for better distribution of the contact pressure, a robust middle bracket with more point supports for optimal adaptation to the windscreen curvature and a high grade riveting process for less side play. To prevent breakage plastic is not
used in the claw and spring rail area.
Spoiler matched to constant pressure BMW wiper system
A spoiler on the wiper blade uses the air flow to increase the contact pressure. Through the use of an articulated shaft, the contact air pressure is increased with rising speed so that the wiper blade does not lift even at higher speeds. When the vehicle is stationary the contact pressure is lighter and thus the components are under no strain.

Tests from +80 şC to -30 şC
The thermal requirements are checked in comprehensive tests. In the laboratory and on-road tests, temperatures from +80 şC to -30 şC are created to check performance under all weather conditions.
Function test to 100% satisfaction
